The lip won’t work, I’m assuming, since the bumper mates directly to the face of the cross beam? More fun with power tools I guess!!

Exactly! So just make sure there's no portion of the skid protruding past the face of the frame there.

Huge shout out to Sierra Expeditions for installing my Old Man Emu lift!

Apologies on shoddy camera work. Apparently my camera does not like super white in the AZ sun and 115 degree temps

You should have done it yourself and used all the money saved on some wheels and tires or a bumper or some lights ect.

That was the original plan. But working outside in Arizona in the middle of summer is not conducive to tempers and making mistakes. I did install the lights this weekend. I wasn't expecting to get as much height out of the lift as I did, so I was not planning on meeting new rims and tires just for the time being. The next project will be due battery and a hidden winch setup, as I am not a fan of massive off-road style bumpers.

Randy has always had great luck with it. They either bring it to him or he goes to them. I’ve done quite a bit here but it seems folks always thought I’d do it for free so I don’t do much anymore. I would love to do more to help fund mods but it seems counter productive apparently Randy is much more like able which is probably true LOL

Yep, if any local people wanted a lift installed, ECGS bushing done, something welded (cmc, cam tab reinforcements, etc), lights installed, then I’d do it for them.
I was the same where I started for free and got tired of all the work so started charging people. Then I realized how great it is having the extra spending money! I think it’s just that I’m closer and you’re out in the boonies lol

Well yes I would have to agree with you there it is a hike for most to get out here. Idk if they have some kinda Delivernce fear or something. I’ve got a rear suspension I need to sell now. I told one dude from F’burg $250 installed leafs and shocks he said it was too much that’s the kinda stuff I get

Well, I couldn't wait until tomorrow, so while my wife was out playing tennis tonight, I installed the transmission and transfer case RCI skid plates. Mission Accomplished!! No sliders for me though. My little lady is exactly that, LITTLE, and I need the step for her. Also, hauling my 81 year old mother, it's the only way I'm loading that cargo butt into the truck!! I came home to Ormond Beach to help her, so I better keep the NFAB step bar. I'll avoid all the boulder fields of Florida. I promise!

Hmm I'm in VB and have been looking for someone that can weld lol mine looks like swiss cheese when i try. I had 1/4" bar stock welded behind my front cam tabs to reinforce them but now my rear are starting to slowly flatten out. I would have my buddy do it but i got transferred and he is like 1000 miles away now lol. If your interested in running a few beads on some 1/4" stock behind my rear 4 cam tabs let me know!

Yeah that’d be easy. I’d want to remove the lcas so I don’t cook the rubber bushing. You can send me some pics in a PM of exactly what you have in mind/what you’ve already done if you want.
