    If you get an interior trim set, it'll likely come with a little tool that's basically a flat head. You can use that to just pop it out easily.

    did you use the factory brackets? I have the same set up but cannot get the head unit to sit flush.

    I used the Scosche double din kit, and use the brackets that come in that kit

    Going to be installing it in a couple of weeks when I rip apart the truck to install everything that I have been collecting over the past months
    (I have the whole week off of Thanksgiving)

    Did mine myself. Wasnt bad at all. But I did have to go back and file the tabs on the Metra for the clips to fit on right and stay on the tabs.

    It's a pretty easy install and head unit is great! I really like that I can control Spotify off the head unit and not have to look at the phone, same with making and receiving calls with Bluetooth conn and the sound is day and night compared to the stock head unit
