Leveling kit, hydro dipped rims & skid plate on 2013, 6” pro comp lift & color matched rims on 2006.
Changed spark plugs in 2014 Tacoma at 63,000 miles. First time for this truck. Center plug in passenger side had coat of oil on it. Checked torque of valve cover bolt by it. Went a whole turn before it clicked. Hopefully that fixes it.

Lol! The all weather seats are great and included. The vinyl floor matched w the insulation, sound deadening and thermal tint make for a nice ride.

Finally in. Went to start truck, and the battery light was on. Hmm. Oh I forgot to re-tension the belt :bananadead:

PCV valve, serpentine belt, and idler pulleys (fresh hardware of course).

Super easy job, hardest part was wrapping my brain around how to get the belt back around the fan. Pulleys felt almost like the brand new ones after 175k but replaced them preemptively.

Did you throw on a new belt? I can’t think of what would cause that if you’re simply slipping it off the alt pulley for the Install.

I have one, but didn't put it on. The only thing I can think of is the alternator itself is defective. I pulled it off and can turn by hand, but not while it was on the truck with the belt disconnected.

If the replacement does the same thing, Ill get one locally and see how that lasts. I ordered from RockAuto, so i thought it would be good..

I did write a long ass post, but it was erased from leaving the page.

Just have patience and vision. Don't let anything other then your states restrictions get in between you and your taco toppings.

I'm building my Prerunner to be a Runner.

Installed the 14" tablet screen infotainment unit from AuCar. There's alot of features to this thing so it's going to take me awhile to get it setup the way I want.

Had some maintenance items to do before the cross country trip also added a floor jack that I can actually lift my truck with if I get a flat. Hasn't been stolen yet.

This stuff is not super cheap but great for under body/frame corrosion prevention
    IMG_1206.jpg

    Coated the entire underside
    IMG_1209.HEIC.jpg

Swapped the rear drums & pads plus springs, I wish these trucks only had disc brakes...
    IMG_2881.HEIC.jpg

Replaced the rubber boots, no more leaking grease from the CVs!
    IMG_3174.jpg

My simplistic floor jack mount with ratchet straps. If it fits it ships
    IMG_3247.HEIC.jpg
    IMG_3249.HEIC.jpg

A little rust repair on the rear bumper
    IMG_3238.jpg

    IMG_3244.jpg

The truck has held up amazing for traveling so far! 269,000 miles and counting

I like that screen size! I wish there was a way to keep the climate knobs with the install. Does the software seem to work well?
