Put on an Icon add a leaf and after 3,000 miles they started squeaking like an old mattress. Tore them apart and found the two smaller leafs without isolation pads were definitely rubbing. Cleaned them, sprayed with silicone lube and cut liners to go between the leafs. No more squeaking for now.

The same shit everyone else has.

They probably saved 40 cents with this design.

I didn’t replace the rubber piece, and the window goes up just fine.

Silly question. Toyota needed more space to mount their high fidelity HERTZ MPX 6 x 9 Pro series speakers. You wouldn't want Toyota to use cheap speakers would you.20210715_161217.jpg

I installed a Lambtek Innovations winch disconnect bracket. I use a Badlands Apex Winch and I just barely had to elongate one hole to make my stock hardware fit.

    These weren't looking too good.
So I've been washing\scrubbing them vigorously every was. This is how they looked.

    IMG_20240716_191757.jpg

Took a razor blade to them today. Then used soap and water to scrub followed by wiping down with vinegar.
    IMG_20240716_191747.jpg

    Finally installed Tuffskinz.

Started on replacing my rear shocks. Arrgh. Can't get the top nut off. Vice grips have rounded off the top of the shaft.
cut the boot off, but can't get any grip of the shaft.
Presently waiting for 9am to make a bunch of noise with the 4.5 in. angle grinder. ugh.

oh tin snips cut the boot and crank the vice grips on the piston rod up under. should come free, but also sounds like the alternative is going to work as well!
