    nice truck.

when mine faded i took mineral spirits to mine and just got rid of the white altogether :)

just thought i'd mention that for people who want the option of the delete. i did it when i removed all my badging. it was looking way too busy, the non-pro models have like 6 badge/texts altogether on the back along with ugly chrome bumpers.. kind of overboard. my truck looks like yours now minus the 'pro' and the flaps.

Brand new oem bumpers do not come pre-drilled. Dealers and body shops do that, but you can ask them not to.

I've been to 3 shops here in Portland and they all have told me that they come pre drilled here like it's nothing new. I'm so confused lol

Heck yeah! I know the pain. I had a TX Pro with the same badging/chrome bumper hahaha One day I'd like to PPF the lower half and remove the flaps. Looks better without em

Call a fourth shop or your local Toyota dealership instead, you can most definitely get a bumper without holes. They come from the factory looking like this:

Okay. I'll go over to a different toyota. I went to Beaverton two different times and both parts dudes told me they come with holes -___- must be a portland thing :annoyed:

Got my grill back from the body shop yesterday. Had it color matched and slightly shaved for some cleaner lines.

Added an Apex badlands winch to my 2014 DCSB. Got the winch used, can't clock these winches so bit of a stretch to flip the handle, but def works. Cut some material off the control box to sit better on top of the ARB. Overall, very easy to install. Didnt even have to take the bumper off. Ended up needing to get an offset fairlead, unless you want to cut into the opening for the line.

Looks great I thought of going that route with the arb bumper but then I got a good deal on a c4 fabrication and decided to get it

oh you have a "first gen" bumper then back when cable winches were the standard, and warn said that Synthetic cables were not going to catch on. they make an adaptor for that bumper face to mount that fairlead, think the Apex one needs to be flipped upside down for some reason or im thinking of some other one. or buy the factor 55 offset one

the 2nd version they moved some stuff around.

Yeah I had seen others not run into this problem, but overall a very easy on to fix. I can see how they are done up just for steel cables.

yeah, my friend helped me install my winch, and his dad worked for warn for years, and was on their demo team and been all over the world when they do shows or promotional pictures etc. told me all sorts of weird things about my bumper and told me i was likely going to need an adaptor or an offset fairlead for a synthetic cable.

The red silicone boots tore after a couple years on my truck. I guess it depends on the angles and possibly what they’re exposed to. I now use OEM. I hope yours last longer than mine did.

Sold a couple days ago. Got a a Nissan Armada as a replacement. Family is growing. This forum was great and is one of the better ones. The Armada forum sub par compared to this one.

If I had seen that pic a month ago I wouldn't have had my cap color matched. That looks nice.
