Nothing to the Taco today but I drove it buy a low mileage ole reliable 2003 Camry for my teen grandkid. Little old lady car with 97k miles. Purrs like a kitten. Now can only hope to recover some of the money I spent. Kid is making over $13 an hour. When I was her age I made $1.60 an hour.

Took the ditch lights off, aux bussmann, and cleaned inside and out. Took pictures to send to dealer for trade in. Put deposit down today on a 2023 built just like my 09.

Is that awning mounted to the cab roof rack only? How much of it is cantilevered out over the bed? Is it holding well without issue?

Yes. So far it's held fine, a little over half is past the rear bracket. It does shake when going over bumps but so far it's been fine. No noises and it has not shifted. Looks to be about max 1.5in of deflection at the end of the canopy when hitting a bump.

One hunting trip and a couple dirt roads with it like this.

This 270lt awning is the largest I would go doing this. I would not do it with the regular 270.

3" OME Lift, Custom Fab Sliders, Decked System, ARB Front, Rear Lockers and compressor, 33" BFG K02 tires on TRD Pro wheels. Added a 2" receiver hitch, backup camera and some interior mods (console on the bench, skyjacker seat modification, some other things)
Breaking in my 5.29 gears on my 2012 regular cab. Easy dirt roads in 4HI. Excited to put this little guy to work and test out the front and rear lockers here soon...

All my D rings I've installed have completely rusted away. Mostly due to my water activities.
None were as heavy duty as this, but I ended up picking up a SS type that doesn't swivel. I'd rather have it swivel like this, but I couldn't find any.

Just bought a 2013 TRD off-road prerunner access cab V6 auto. Wheels and tires will be installed tomorrow. I have Clazzio leather seat covers, new carpet , bought new take off rear leafs , new take off bilstein shocks and an SOSperformance lowering kit to install. Bought a new license for my VF tuner and the new KDmax tune. Selling the canopy that came on it and the wheels and tires tomorrow. Will be fun modding this truck to make it mine.

Also did some pre interior detailing. Will do more when I take out the seats to install the new carpet and seat covers. It’s clean but it smells a little like dog and cigarette smoke. I am confident that replacing the carpet, cleaning the seats , covering them with yhe Clazzio leather and taking out the headliner to clean it that it will be real nice.

Have put Clazzios in my last 3 Tacoma access cabs. Pictured in my 2008 Off Road with gray Clazzios on the Sport seats. Check for the secondary air pump recall. Recently had the 2012 done. Looked like they replaced quite a few parts for free.20230412_172532.jpg

PSA: do you have an older 2nd gen? CHECK YOUR GAS TANK STRAPS!!!!

These were pulled from mine while doing a skid plate install so I needed new straps. These were so rusty that any large bump or impact on a dirt road would have torn my gas tank off. Be careful folks
