These guys have had a long history of not delivering orders. Personally dealt with it. Didn’t get any responses to my emails until they got a chargeback notice, then decided to take me seriously. They’ve since filed for bankruptcy, so if you or anyone else has orders in with them, file a chargeback and get your money back.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
It's unlikely that it's something unusual. Just pull the bulb and find the number.

We had the pleasure of fixing a 5th gen 4Runner that was "built" by evil mfg. Oh man where to begin...

It was a full Total Chaos long travel kit "install". It was clear as soon as we got it that they didn't cycle anything and just slapped the kit on as quick as possible. The owner took the truck out once and pretty much destroyed it. The color matched fiberglass was cracked, the front bumper was bent and cracking, nothing was greased, the rear bumper was bent, the bump stops didn't even engage, it had missing plastics that weren't missing when he dropped it off, and the welding was all very sub par without any paint so it was already rusting.

In the end we had to cut about 2" off his fiberglass fenders, repair both bumpers, grease parts and swap some bushing, reweld cracked parts, and properly adjust his bump stops. Easier said than done. We always say it's easier to do it right the 1st time than undo crappy work. They also took 0 responsibility and the owner was stuck paying for the work twice. At least the 2nd time was with us and not them again.

Then funilly enough later that week another reputable shop in our area had another truck built by them come through which had transmission and brake lines rubbing, bolts shanked wrong, non locking nuts on parts that needed locking nuts, and other similar clearancing issues. He made a long story post going over everything and basically said it was unsafe to drive and that owner was lucky (he wasn't wrong!)

Our customer said they also had a bong just sitting in their waiting room and that no one there really seemed to know what was going on.

All I can say is good riddance. It was a danger having them around. Now we just need the same to happen with Wicked...

I should note there are rumors they are opening up a new shop in central California under a new name. I'm really hoping those are just rumors.

I joined the forum just so I can post this and help get the word out. I've posted on IG. Phones and website are down, IG is gone. FB is still up lol, last post was Nov. 2. I made a comment in the last post.

I ordered and paid for a customized roof mount light bar with 6 Baja Designs LP 6’s back in July of 2024. I was told then “should ship in 2-3 weeks.” “I’ll put my best guy on it, he’s not the fastest but he’s my best fab man.” I was prepping for a big desert trip so I was hoping for 2. 4 weeks came and no update or shipping info.

Over the past 6 months I’ve had a few conversations and emails with the owner. Each time I had to make the effort to contact him and every email and phone conversation was filled with excuses and reasons why my order hadn’t shipped.

“My supplier shorted us on rod ends. They are on back order but once they arrive we’ll assemble and ship. Should be next Wednesday” “My guy welded the brackets on wrong, the logo is backwards. It’s going to take a few days to fix. Should ship by Wednesday” “That hasn’t shipped yet? Let me know check. Oh I’m short on a couple LP 6’s. Should be able to ship on Wednesday” Notice a theme here?

The best one was right before the holidays. “The shop was broken into last night and they stole the lights for your order. They are in stock with the distributor so I’ll drop ship from there and will ship the light bar tomorrow” That was a Tuesday so I expected tracking on Wednesday. He even got a call from “the insurance adjuster” while I was on with him. I could hear him provide some details on missing items. Seemed legit at the time but now I wonder if it was all smoke and mirrors!?

So the holidays come and go. Still no updates or shipping info. My kids keep bugging me about when the light bar is coming Yesterday I searched “evil offroad not shipping product” and found this post

I’m out $3,600 if my credit card company won’t help I almost feel like driving out there and finding this guy just to give him a piece of my mind.

We’ve started making these in-house recently with all the shit surrounding evil. We’re operating on about a 4 week lead time at the moment. Give us a couple of weeks, and we’ll have the lead time down to about a few days.

DM us, I’ll get you taken care of.
