Did you install the spacers on the front only, or did you raise the rear as well?

I've got some great ideas so far. I bought the seat jackers since those seem pretty popular. I'll most likely get a cooler (Yeti Roadie 24) since that will come in use with the entire family, but I've also been thinking about the mini fridge/warmer. I'll check out Great Courses. I just got into podcasts (so late to the game), so I can download some of those. Lots of good ideas from everyone.

Convex mirrors if you don’t have BSM and those deer whistles since we’re coming up on deer season.

some people say they don’t work but I’ve only ever hit deer with cars that didn’t have it. Maybe coincidence? I rather try spending $5 than buy a new front end as I have with 2 cars.

Depending on how long you're driving, a good memory foam seat cushion helps me tremendously for long trips.

Thirded. I've got 35% on the 4 side windows, and clear ceramic on the windshield. the interior is black leather and the difference is significantly noticeable. I'd put money that just having the clear on the front sides and windshield is better than none at all.

Used to drive from South Dakota to SoCal and back every month or two for years. In a ‘93 Pickup, ‘99 4Runner, etc. old cars. All I can recommend is some sunflower seeds to keep you awake. Don’t need much else to drive ha.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have any good guides/tutorials on soundproofing cabs?

I drive from San Francisco to Anaheim (400 miles) 2-3x a month, corn nuts or anything crunchy keeps me wide awake.

    Also, front window tint…

Not much to it, rip everything out, clean the base metal applying your deadening layer, roll it out for adhesion, that's usually enough for most folks the next step is a closed cell foam, then a decoupling layer like mass loaded vinyl.

It's a very simple process, but a LOT of labor and time is involved.

For someone who has done all of that, to their whole vehicle. Does it make it difficult to hear things like other people's horns? Might be a silly question, but 3 layers of acoustic insulation and man, that's be a LOT of deadening

I only did 90-95% ish coverage of deadener, which just tone shifts noise from high pitches to "dead" low pitches that don't resonate, it doesn't stop the noise just modifies it to something more easily ignored and less aggravating to the subconscious.

The roof got deadener and insulation which mostly reduces heat but does have some little dampening. (Can't hear rain on the roof now unless it's really hard but the rain on the windows still overrides the roof sound.)

Then the floor and the back wall, the panels where noise penetrates the most, got 60-80% coverage with the pad which is MLV suspended (decoupled) by foam layers along with a little insulation Dynaliner) on some key spots and the dynamat.

Is it quieter? Absolutely, but it's not Rolls Royce quiet, and there's next to nothing you can do about the windows so rain, and car horns, wind noise, all that still reach into the cab but the squeaks rattles drones and all the little annoying nuances are reduced to the point they don't plague your psyche.

Sound is such a subjective thing though it's really hard to effectively convey.

I would 100% do it again on my truck though, I just hope I never have to because it is a LOT of work and fairly expensive.
