    None needed.
You might resist but it's coming, so you may as well have a wish list.

A battery that gets 840 miles on a full charge and takes 1 hour to go from 20% to 100%.
    Deeper bed.
A seat that is higher off the floor (floor could be lower with no drive train).
    Independent motor for each wheel.
    37 inch tires

Based on the limited experience I have with the new lightning, hummer and rivian. We are years from either of those being possible. All three of them need roughly 12+ hrs on 240v/40a to go from 20-30% to 100. Thats to get roughly 330-370 miles of range. I understand its a wish list but I dont see that being a reality anytime soon.

Since we are making unreasonable requests for the electric tacoma, I want mine to always have 2 naked ladies in the back seat all the time.

TBH I don't want a fully electric vehicle. IMO we don't have the infrastructure to go EV yet and the environmental impact is just as bad as ICE.

That said, as a consumer, I'd much prefer the same exact truck as my 3g but with a hybrid drivetrain and a little bit better standard features.

The concept of just switching out a drive train is crap. Electric vehicles are designed from the ground up. Heating, air conditioning, etc all designed differently.

350 mile range, with some kind of built in solar charging. Able to fit 33's stock. Cool offroad modes/traction control features like the Hummer EV. Sub $50k price tag.

    Let me dreammmmm.

    Good Answer!

Not only will the crackolotors last the life time of the vehicle. The less components to power, the battery will have a greater range.
Just last week I saw a H1 Hummer cruising around. Like, gas prices lol. Thing was Clean.

I'd like to see a less is more approach to an EV. No power locks or windows. No infotainment system. No screen. Just a AM/FM tuner I guess it could support an XM reciever. Aftermarket can provide the infotainment if one desires. No cruise control. Analog gauges for the speedometer and battery life gauge. I would like A/C and heat. Two bucket seats, and a vinyl floor. Use recycled plastic on the interior for green points for all I care. Part time 4wd, with a 2spd transfer case.

Right right, I need to amend my request and ask for the rubber carpet that everyone requests normally.

That could be said to be much more than a wish. Even the most advance (read: expensive) EV cars don't get that kind of range.

For me, I just want approximately the same form factor as the 3rd Gen and about 300mi to 350mi of range with an OEM range extending option. Basically an ultra efficient and quite generator. I don't care what the price is. $5k would be worth it to me, if it allows off grid travels.

But, much, much narrower. They are damn nice, seeing a bunch running around here. Just too wide for the good trails and such.
