What do you use to make the most of your bed storage under the tonneau?

I finally got a Diamondback tonneau cover (short bed) and have been looking around for ideas to store all of my gear under it in a secure way. I was thinking of using clear storage bins but I can't find a set of 4 that has the correct dimensions to make the best use of my storage, so I was just looking around for ideas of what you guys might use?

    Thanks!

Usually I’ve got so much crap that it all fills out pretty nicely. I also travel with a workout sandbag (120 lbs) and I sling that in last in order to provide a solid stop for everything else in the bed. The cargo divider from Toyota looks pretty awesome but it’s probably pretty expensive. You could probably buy a cheap little basket cargo net and hook it around the bed cleats or something if you need a short term solution.

I use 3 husky storage bins - I can't remember if its the 25 or 15 gallon size - just measure it for height to see if it fits under your cover. I have the bed mat and these things pretty much stay put and don't slide around. If there's some heavy stuff in there I might slide them up against the cab and use a ratcheting cargo bar to make sure they stay in place.

Ahh I forgot to mention that I was looking for something that I can seal well to keep moisture and mold out, especially for my blankets and extra clothes. Most of my gear is camping gear and will be alright though, so maybe i'll just get one or two storage bins to strap down and leave the rest exposed.

I would LOVE that but they are so expensive!!

I'll have to check them out later, does yours have a sort of oring seal on the lid or will moisture still get around?

I use a roll up cover so I roll it up to use the bed when I need it.

Build an organizer out of wood, inexpensive and customizable

Between the tonneau cover and the lid I haven't had any water in them. But in terms of keeping humidity out - pretty sure they aren't that airtight. You might want to use some 5 or 10 gallon zip locks for stuff you want to keep dry.

Ahhh great idea, I actually have some older ones in my closet but I didn't even think of that. My tonneau will allow something up to 16" max, so I think I will look for something that's about 15.5" tall to make the most use of my space. With the diamondback, I could put two bins horizontal at the front of my bed and then two longer ones horizontal at the back. I saw a older thread with the dimensions, I need to just look around for a storage bin that is the right size to fit efficiently.
