I admittedly nerd out on organization systems and preparedness. I really enjoy learning about what works for other people and am wondering what you keep in the bed of your tuck. What's your truck bed EDC?

Please post pics of your set up and describe what we're looking at. I'll start:

Since I have a shell I try to take advantage of the dry storage, with the goal being to keep the truck as light as possible while still having essentials on hand.

I’m still lagging in the spare parts department (and other areas) but this is what is in the bed of my truck 99% of the time at this point.

    -Toolbox with *lots* of tools.
    - Hi Lift jack with safety base (primary jack(@safe_jack)kept in cab).
    - 33” spare tire.
    - Recovery gear.
    - Gas cans (8 gallons. Empty unless off-roading or traveling longer distances).
    - Lubes, fluids, strong adhesives etc.
    - Shovel
    - 5 gallons of water.
    - Tarp

Traction boards get thrown in when wheeling and I keep quite a bit more gear in the cab as well (air compressor, power banks, survival etc.), but that’s for another thread.

5 gal of gas, ratchet straps in cubby next to power plug. Will take 3 jerries ea of gas and water on bigger trips. Fridge tends to stay because I am lazy. Race jack mounted on fender plus shovel / axe / fire extinguisher:

Thanks! It's 3.8 gallons of pressurized water. You just hook up a garden hose to it and fill it. Pressure can run out from that, but there's a valve to refill it. I use my ARB compressor when I need to. I use it to wash bluefish guts off the truck and bait. Also, my 8 yo daughter and her friends come with me sometimes and find ways of bringing 4 lbs of sand in the truck w/ them so I use it to hose them off too. Costco usually has them on sale on their website.

Spare tire some old tractor trailer inner tubes.
The tubes work well to keep stuff in place and also for lite stuff when tonneau is off or folded.
    The sump pump is trash.

I've been wanting to build a platform. I'd have to get a new fridge slide that tilts which is like $1000...so no platform for me.

I usually keep in the bed:

    - sleeping bag
    - foam mattress pad rolled up
    - tie downs in cubbies
    - GF
    - The dog

Cut a piece of plywood to fit over the wheel wells and carpeted that with two layers so I can quickly remove the sleeping setup if needed. LED's strips velcroed to the cap.

Tools and recovery gear in the back seat.

What are those corner side braces, the first two trucks have?
Some kind of brace for side of box?

Those are bed stiffeners. They help keep the relatively flimsy bedsides from flexing out when they are under load.
