    So I have these buttons:

    2021-12-31 11.00.28.jpg

When I press the traction control button (car with skid marks), I get:

    2021-12-31 11.00.38.jpg

So the Traction Control Off light comes on, but also the "Auto LSD" light.

Does that mean the Auto LSD is off or on now?

Also, the button labeled RSCA Off appears to do nothing. What is it? Thanks.

Your RSCA button turns off your Curtain Airbags. They wont deploy if you get past a certain angle while wheeling. And when hold the auto lsd button that turns off traction control. If you turn the truck off and turn it back on it automatically turns it back on

IIRC you have to be stationary for the RSCA button to work when you hold it. I don't think you can turn them off while moving.

So, what state is the Auto LSD "active", traction control on or off?

Pretty sure it's active on the first push of the button. It's an ABS function. Long pressing the button turns ALL of it off so you can get jiggy wit it.

Lsd active when traction control is off.
    Do you have a 5lug?
I can't remember, but I think In my five lug a long hold doesn't do anything

With Auto LSD (quick button press) traction control is on, holding the button for 3 secs whil stationary turns off traction and stability controls.

Okay, so one press will activate Auto LSD (why it is not on all the time???). Long press turns off traction control so I can manually manage wheel spin in snow/sand/etc. I think I got it. I am not familiar with these "new" things, so forgive my ignorance. I have never had a 4X4 with traction control and always had a manual rear locker. I guess I will need to read up when to turn it off. I only use the four wheel drive when surf fishing and just generally bounce along in 4 low with near flat tires doing just fine.

Well, auto lsd basically uses the brakes to give traction to the wheel that has it. It's is and is not useful depending who you are. It's basically a crappy lsd, but it does different things so it may be better.

In my 3rd Gen, when I hit the beach or dunes, I long press the TCS and kill it all. Otherwise, if you gas it, you'll bury and also lock you out of your full throttle range. Go out there and play with it and you'll see. It's weird when it shuts down throttle control. It's kind of counterintuitive as one might think traction control is something you would utilize in beach conditions but I look at it as an "on road" function for inclement Wx and what not.

The middle is the driver side ejector seat. The right deploy a bleach/oil mix to the rear tires for chick magnet mall burnouts.

You can turn off the RSCA while moving. Just have to hold the button for a few seconds.

Not a 2 gen owner. RSCA is an interesting concept. Now I'm curious how that is handled on the 3rd Gen?

OR does not. I don't believe any of the models do.
