    Hello, new to tacoma world.

I just bought a 2017 sr5 2wd tacoma I have no idea what im doing lol. All I know is that I want to lift it 2" maybe 3" just in front and 1" in the rear depending if i lift 3" in front. I dont want to use a spacer. Whats a decent lift that I could get that is fair in price but good quality to where I can still go on some trails. Dont plan on crawling rocks.

As of right now I just purchased 265/70/16 goodyear kevlar tires. Going to run these until their done. I plan on getting 285/75/16 ko2 by the time these tires are near finished.

If somebody could give me advice or a link for where to purchase a lift or lift kit Id really appreciate it.

You don't need a lift at all. These trucks are pretty capable stock and the lack of 4WD will stop you long before you need another 2 inches of ground clearance.

you wont make it far with 2wd so I would just invest in some good tires over a couple inches of lift

I have a 2019 SR5, same only 2wd & I did a 3" Level lift. I NEVER off-road, other than a dirt road here or there, & my truck is more a pavement queen or mall crawler lol! With that, I did the Rough Country 3" lift with strut spacers in the front, lift blocks in the rear, & upgraded the rear shocks with Rough Country lifted N3 shocks, for better travel. Only paid about $300 shipped!! Drives like STOCK & smooth as hell! I get a lot of compliments too! I eventually want to upgrade to larger tires also, 285/70-17. Running 265/65-17 now. Good LUCK with the build & welcome to TW!!!image23.jpg image24.jpg

I have the exact same configuration, SR5 4x2.

Best lift for your buck is a spindle lift (since we're 2WD peeps).

Maxtrac offers a few different lift kit configurations. Marie should be able to steer you in the right direction!

    6.5" Spindle Lift + 285/70R17

Maxtrac does offer 4" and maybe some smaller kits.
