Cap-It Bulldog CX (Leer 100R branded for Cap-It). $2,500 CAD ($1,945 USD) out the door and installed. Included the option front sliding window. Nice topper but someone at Leer decided it was okay to send it out with some minor paint issues (Small blotches in paint). Cap-It ended up refunding me $850 which was the cost of the estimate to be repainted after waiting 6 months just to be told it would take 2-3 months to be repainted. I will just live with it considering I paid around the same as a OE hard tonneau cover lol.

Snug top rebel $2400. It's an expensive dog house or tent.

All these fiberglass toppers for $2500+ and you can’t even mount anything on them. Ridiculous pricing!

You can put racks on if you like. That's not the look I choose or I'd buy a larger truck.

I stalked Craigslist and FB marketplace for weeks and found a Leer 100R for $400. Raptorline'd it for $50. The roof tracks and rack I added cost more than the topper.

If you're not worried about color matching looking for a used cap is the way to go. Be patient and move quickly when something comes up

I know that..but what’s the static load on those? Unless the topper is reinforced, you can’t place anything on top.

It's a couple hundred bucks extra for reinforcement from snugtop. I don't recall the static load weight capacity. I went with snugtop as I have another toyota with a Snug top that been on there since 93.... no problems just had to replace the lock cylinder. It did start to leak after 10 years...that's expected. Who says you can't put things on top anyways??

$2000 from local FB market place. Kid was trading in his Tacoma, and was selling it. Was getting ready to buy new but found this, about $1000-1500 cheaper than new, and didn’t have to wait. Had it two days after I bought the truck.

Found a couple others that were similar, one for $2300 and another for $1700, but this one panned out. Which end up being good, because one was 2.5 hours away the other 8.

Leer 100XR cab-hi with windoors. Has Yakima rails on it too, but I’ll never use them. Over putting stuff on the roof and use a trailer for most everything, so much easier to load.

Picked up this ARE over lander, a few months back in San Diego CA for $1,100. Cheapest I’ve seen in mint condition (I was looking for months). You need to be quick when looking at 2nd hand deals out here.

Absolutely. I wouldnt worry about that. I have a tent up there and its fine. Having the hd shell would have been nice though

2021 Leer 100XQ. Super White. Installed, wired, and extra LED bar inside. $3,200.
It still leaks a bit and I've gone back a few times for them to adjust it and reseal, but I still get moisture on top of the wheel wells. Only so much I can do!

Where did you get yours in Albuquerque? I'm going to be in the market for one shortly and was looking at my options.

I carry kayaks and awning quite a bit, no issues. I hear you though, I wouldn't probably want 2 or 3 people camping up there.
$500 used basic ARE (sliders) here.

Oh wow, topper town on Osuna. Mike the owner gives great customer service. Been back there a few times. Def the place to go in my opinion. Its a family business and they will be there to take care of any issues you might have down the road.

Edit: Just realized we went wheelin at puerco one day!
