If you want a great deal how about looking at the remaining 2024s? My closest dealer has discounts up to $6300 off of MSRP posted on the windshield. Probably could get more off if you haggle.

I put a deposit on a 2025 off road hybrid in production now. It has a few extra options. $3,800 off for a price of $55,500 plus tax and license.

    $5000-6000 off a 2024 should be mandatory.

It’s somewhat ridiculous that people had to wait until nearly February to get a 2025, but it looks like they’re “hatching” with $2000-3000 already on the hoods.

When the 4Runners arrive and start sharing lot space with miles & miles of unsold SR5’s, you might do even better, so don’t be in a rush.

As we’ve discussed countless times here, Gen4’s arrived inflation-hot. Pay too much and eat the depreciation at your own risk…

I dont follow all the toyota trends, model releases, etc...
Other day, my local dealer had ZERO Camrys on the lot....

Some dealers are discounted heavily right off the get go, give you a great deal right from the start.
Then theres some thank think theyre special & think your dumb.....
Every dealer around town are advertising discounts, $2k minimum to $5k...
Then theres these guys in the same area, that feel the market is only deserving a $500 off msrp discount....
    https://www.normreevestoyotasandiego.com/new-vehicles/tacoma/

I totally blasted the sales manager when the sales guy transfer my phone call to him, after he said we will do anything to make this deal happen as we have competitive pricing....
Politely explained to him that everyone around town is discounting Tacomas $3500-$5500 right now & theyre not willing to wiggle at all.
    Lit him up....

He said he would call me back with a simple yes deal or no deal decision...
I didnt expect much, & he didnt even call back....

Also I was pinning another dealer against another, playing what are you going to do for me, pricing game, these guys are at this price-point, you have an identical truck I really want.....
End of the day they was $2700 price variation....
She kept saying, my manager said this & that, were not flexing, etc..
We need proof to match their pricing, etc...

Reserved my truck & sent her a screenshot of the confirmation / deposit receipt within minutes of getting off the phone with her....
"you can thank your manager for playing games, this doesnt have to be hard...."

Her response, "were going to declined to do business with you"........

Bought 24 TRD Off Road $46,800 out the door, 6 feet bed big monitor, white color.

Always ask for what is the OTD price. I started asking a car broker to get a ball park price, Broker said the msrp was 55k, but with his discount 49k, then I went to the dealership to bring it down more, cause I know on top of brokers discount price (he still makes money) so room for negotiation.

I went to the dealership 1 pm and get out by 9 pm, salesman in dealership will get you softened by their delayed tactics, they will stretch and always slow, but what I did is don’t bring your wife and dedicate a time, so get them back their delaying tactics to them and dealership is closing but they want to sell the truck to me, so they have to bring down the price last minute till I am happy . My 2 cents.

you're correct. i am looking for a non hybrid 4X4 sport or off road with 6 foot bed and fully loaded factory options. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to find here in Texas at least.

That is a Texas unicorn, for sure. They do exist across the US. Looks like the closest one might be Colorado.

Autotrader has a six foot bed filter. I was just using Off-road Premium package to find loaded 2024’s.

How close to Utah are you? There’s a Blue LB Premium in Riverdale. And if you fancy a long drive back Oregon and Seattle are riddled with them. Vancouver Toyota shows up with 56 OR with tons being LB Premium.
