    Hi Folks,

I did a search and the only thing i found on this topic was the Diff Gear ratio's were different?
    I have an O9, 2TR Engine, 4x4...is the R155F because 4x4?
    If not, what differences?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, I believe you are correct in assuming the F is the designation for 4x4. There are no other differences that I’m aware of.

    Thanks Gents,

I did see that post by @gearcruncher, man that dude knows a lot of good stuff for sure, but i didn't see what the actual differences were in these transmissions...
I don't have any problems with my stuff, but I am doing the trans fluids soon and reference that post a lot, so good to go with that.

Mostly curious is all when i saw the F suffix.

    The F represents 4x4 .
The rear housing of the transmission is designed to connect to a transfer case where as the 2 wheel drive version uses an extension housing with a driveshaft slip yoke .
Thats the only difference that I am aware of as well

    Thank you Sir!

I was under it yesterday checking out how the transfer case is attached to the transmission, figured that had to the be difference,
    but good to get confirmation.

    Best!
