What are the chances the Celestial gets built?

Long story short, I need to get a new Tacoma. TRD OR, Manual are the musts. Army green or Lunar would be great but probably not happening. Celestial and Magnetic are the next 2 choices with Celestial a little more preferable. Found a Celestial with a temp VIN supposed to have a week 21 build date and a magnetic grey with a real VIN. Both available. I prefer the options on the Celestial but I haven’t been following Toyotas production at all. What are the chances the Celestial gets built? Definite? Good? 50/50? Thanks in advance.

Nice! But the OR is more important to me than the color.

 

Your best bet: Look for a used one. I checked Auto Trader & Auto Tempest. I checked nation wide for a new, 6spd in those colors for TRD OffRoad's...zero were found. That's not to say that none are out there, but they are very hard to find. It's the manual transmission that really narrows your search.

Hell, if you can deal with an automatic my local dealer just listed a Silver 22' TRD OR 4wheel drive for only $43k. No "market adjustment".

 

I'm kinda in the same situation. I'm looking for a TRD Off-Road MT in Army Green

 

PSA.. MT Sports are saddled with HSA, Hill Start Assist, and I'm guessing most set on the OR trucks won't want that around. You can't turn it off, and ORs/Pros don't have it.

I put a deposit down on the celestial. Msrp. No BS dealership protection packages but wondering if it gets made as the temporary VIN indicates a week 21 build and that is last week by my calculations.

 

They are most likely a week or two behind on production.
