Anyone know of any that are under $250? My foglights really could use an upgrade.

I'm running the Heretics and am happy with them. Before that, I had Bajas, but those are yellow.

    Yep.
If you plan to use them on the road; Diode Dynamics SS3 Sports. Great improvement and useable light throw, without blinding oncoming traffic.

If you only plan to use offroad, or your a jerk that likes to blind people and get flashed all the time, then maybe Baja Designs... they throw a ton of light, but not suitable for on-road use (even their SAE/DOT version is not great for on-road use).

Morimoto XB ambers are nice, but if you want crazy output, DD SS3's are the way.

I've never owned any fog lights that made a noticeable difference. In what conditions do you find them useful?

For fog lights that are actually fog lights, the Diode Dynamics SS3 (sport or Max) SAE fog is kickass. Way better than the BD competitor in this application.

I live in Canada, i frequently use them during snowstorms and well.... foggy days.
If I am offroading I like to turn them on just to get more light output.
Never do I have them on for daily driving.

I've never noticed that they made any difference in fog, rain, or snow. I see a little extra light directly in front of me, but that's not where I'm looking. :notsure:

I read once they're supposed to help with seeing road markers, and it's not actually about more light output.
