Curious what everyone is running on their trucks.

I have been saving up for a while to do the whole lift/tire/wheel thing and so far the only conclusion I’ve come to is that I plan to get the Billstein 6112/5160 with a 3 leaf AAL from headstrong.

However the wheel and tire thing is tricky, I’m all over the map on wheels, but think I’ve narrowed my decision on tires to 265/75/16 BFG KO2, Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs or the Cooper STT Maxx.

of course there’s the debate on tire size, and from my research I think the 285 BFG would be “fine” for the majority of my driving, but in the case it doesn’t work and I have to cut up my truck, I don’t know if it’s worth the headache

The truck sees primarily pavement with rain/snow and the occasional hunting or fishing trail as I haven’t taken it offroad yet.

Just looking for advice before I drop some serious cash money, thanks guys!

Amen. Like with all the "what do you guys feel about ________?" threads, who cares what other people think, its your truck and your money, spend it on what you like! Similar to that is the reason why the sliders I bought aren't on my truck, they aren't exactly why I had in mind I wouldn't have been happy with them in the long run. I'd rather sell as new than be annoyed for 2 years and try to sell used sliders.

I know this is asking for examples, new input or suggestions and that's why I'm in here, to see them, I just wanted to show support of the notion.

SCS Ray10s. Seriously considering putting back on my 4runner TRD pros though. Tires are 265 70 17.

Dang those ray 10s are good lookin. I’m jealous how good the gunmetal looks on mgm. Cement seems to only look good in black

what makes you wanna put the TRD Pros back on though @1bad2k ? What offset are you running on the Ray10s?

265 75 16 Trac Grip MTs, love them, ride smooth. On 16x8 0 offset level8 Mk6 rims, - been great, holding up great, seen 4 NH winters now. I read they designed these wheels for Toyotas. And 0 offset seems to be the way to go to acoid any rubbing issues on UCAs etc.

    Build thread coming soon.
If you go with the 265/75/16, no rubs, I had the 285/75/16 bfg's for my first tire with 3" lift and had some rub when turning in to drive ways and some parking lots. Ended up doing cmc. Ultra motorsports 16x8 zero offset.20200528_102103.jpg

I agree with @usmcflyr I just put 265/75/16 KO2s on my stock OR & it completely negated my desire to spend $1600+ on a new suspension. It's a crime this size wasn't OEM spec

They are the 4.3" backspacing. For some reason, they just dont look as good on my truck as they do on the others I see. I think it's because my truck is not lifted. I dont plan to lift it either so I think they dont have enough offset for me. I really liked how the sema wheels sat on the truck.

My guess around 50-60% of TW members are running SCS wheels especially Ray10s haha. Including myself of course

Method MR704 17x8.5 0 Offset. 255/80/17 AT3. 2” front 1” rear minimal rub on mud flap. Heat gun and some trimming on the flap should solve that.

I’m with you now, those SEMA wheels are dope. What’s the offset on those wheels? Do they still give you a little poke?

The sema pro wheels, I'm not sure of offset. They are the OEM toyota ones though. They sat just inside the fender from being flush. Perfect offset and size for a stock truck imo.

The SCS do have a little poke, but I'm not sure I like it.
