    Hello community ,
I’m looking forward to replacing my engine valve cover gasket, what’s the costs? I wanna go to the Toyota dealer shop. And another question will my extended warranty cover the cost? I have Wynns Plus. Thanks

Dealer hours is about 1.5 hrs
The local dealer here was at 179.99 last I checked.
Plus the cost of gaskets. Plus shop fees.

Gaskets are about $30 per side at most online dealers.

You can do the math. Then add 20% just to get an “idea”.

I have no idea if it covers the gaskets.
I don’t trust most warranties. So I’m going to say, No.

    Yeah.
First, it would need to clearly be leaking oil at the valve cover gaskets for any warranty to cover it, and they will want clear proof. Second, warranty companies are in business to make money, and ANY money going out is bad for their business. They are motivated to sell as many warranties as they can and deny any and all claims they can. You'll have to read your warranty paperwork. In detail. That right there might just be worth forking out the cash. I didn't know what Wynns Plus is, but a quick Google search tells me you can write that one off.

Any chance it’s the front corner by the oil dip stick?
If so, and it’s just “seeping”. I consider it “normal”.

Don't just go off of what people on the internet tell you. If you can see it leaking, make a case with your warranty provider. The worst thing they can do is reject it, but if you don't even try, then you can't complain that the warranty doesn't work.

No it’s by the passenger side where bolts mount . And I saw small sip one at the farthest ignition coil area.
