I am located in San Diego and was recently quoted $165 to tint my front windows (with Scorpion Window Film’s Shield Plus, nano-ceramic tint). Is this reasonable?

Additionally, what would a reasonable price look like to get the windshield tinted with the same ceramic-based tint?

My front window in PHX cost $200 ... and I got a 5% top brow-strip that works remarkably well except when the sun is on the horizon.

Side windows already done when I bought it, but cost $250 when I first moved here and and needed tint on my now-sold Corolla.

I paid $175.00 to have the front windows on my Tacoma tinted in Hutto, TX. I paid the same to have my wife's RAV4 done. I didn't think it was unreasonable.

Thanks for the input. First time getting a tint job, just wanted to make sure that quote wasn’t out of the usual ball-park

sounds about right. I think I paid about $150 for my front 2 on the taco. $350 or so for 5 windows in previous cars. Always 3M or Llumar ceramic tint. San Diego as well, cheers amigo

Be sure you know how far outside the law the selected side tint and (any) windshield tint is. AZ police know it is sunny and hot. CA police may be forgiving ... or not.

I have a guy here that charged me $65 to do the front windows in factory tint % to match the rear windows that were already done from the factory. Also just had him tint my whole grand marquis beater and he charged $240. All windows except the windshield. I know hes dirt cheap tho

Regional forums, with actual regional information is surely better info. I’m guessing pricing cali compared to flyover country will be different.

Paid $600 for high quality ceramic tint on all windows. If you go for lower quality film it can be much cheaper
Going to learn how to do it myself because New Hampshire tint laws are ridiculous and I will need to redo it yearly after inspection...

Yes. I got quotes from 2-3 places in Orange County for ceramic and that's about the going rate. I ended up paying $430 for all four doors and the back.

Just got the tint done for $180 (including tax). Only got the front windows done with a 20% ceramic-based tint. Quite happy with how it came out, but will definitely be getting the windshield done down the line. Pic included is after the job got done with someone in the front passenger seat. Sorry if the pic isn’t the best quality!
