Uhh....most of us shy away from them. They are damage multipliers.

Try to stay away from anything made from Westin. I used to have a friend named Westin, total pussy.

I don’t know about the quality of their bull bars but I had a brand new set of Westin chrome tube steps on a previous truck and i’ve never owned anything that rusted and rotted out so quickly. I’m not 100% sure, but i’m assuming all their stuff is made overseas.......

I'm not sure how I feel about bull bars. I'm not a fan of Westin. The go rhino rc2 I like and I'm considering.

Thank you very much ! Totally satisfies my curiosity. I was most interested in how far it stuck out !

I have a non LED westin bull bar on mine. A little bit ago, some girl learning to drive slammed on her brakes causing me to rear end her and beat her car up pretty bad. I took a look at my front end and the bar took all the damage, truck was completely fine. So I put another bar on to replace it, and not sure I want to take it off after that. Never know when you'll need it! Sometimes I do like the idea of not having it for the extra clearance and cleaner look but I don't think it looks bad.

    This is mine

Bull bars are fugly on any vehicle, but they're especially fugly on Tacomas. That and they increase damage if you get in a wreck because all they do is bend back into your actual bumper.

The Westin Bars have brackets underneath and also brackets that keep the top of the bar from bending inward so overall there are 4 keeping it on. It helped me in my fender bender by keeping my truck safe, but I can't speak for everyone or every product.
