I came across a brand new "in the box" ad on CL for "WESTIN ULTIMATE LED BULL BAR 32-3885L"

The seller is asking a reasonable price for them, considering they're still brand new.

I've only owned myTacoma for about a month now, but really want to invest in a nice tucked-away winch setup, because I will probably off road alone at times.

Does a set of bull bars like this add anything useful to a winch setup? From what I read, I've noticed some people say they're only for "looks" and actually not very functional. So I'm assuming I cannot mount a winch onto a bull bar?

    Link to exactly same product:

They are for show only. You can't really put any load on them. Any serious contact with another vehicle/the ground will most likely result in the mounts bending and the bar contacting your OEM bumper.

Thanks for the input. I think I should probably save my money then.

Unless you just really like that specific look I think that's probably a good call.

this^^^ show only and if you're in an accident that thing will bend into the grill
and do a lot of costly damage.

Pretty sure if he hits something hard enough to bend that his front end will be toast any way.

They also require proof of AARP card to purchase.

Someone around me just put on in a Cavalry Blue T4R Pro. I cringe everytime I see it.

They definitely are here in sunny FL.

Giant bull bar, huge side steps, bug deflectors and vent visors all on a 2wd truck that sits about 4 inches off the ground at most.

100% guaranteed to be a retiree doing 10mph under the speed limit in the fast lane with his blinker on for miles and not a care in the world.
