How much does everyone's Tacoma weigh? My 2012 access cab with a canopy, front and rear steel bumpers, 33s, and 4.0 6spd is right at 5000lbs on the local truck scale. Seems a bit heavy but where is everyone else? Also I average 18-20 mpg.

Sounds about right. On the scales at scrap yard (mines double cab), before bigger tires, and with only a few extras I think it was about 4200 give or take.

(I'd pray to the gas god's any give thanks if your getting 18-20MPG :) )

The last time I bought rip-rap at the local gravel place, I think I was at about 4,100 lbs.
    Mine's a 2014 access cab TRD OR 4x4.

Yours does sound a little heavy.

My 07, 4X4, DC, V6, Auto with a Leer cap weighed 4800 lbs with both my wife and I in it when it was weighed coming out of the landfill earlier this week. Figure 350 for my wife and I along with about 180 for the cap and my guesstimate is about 4270.

Which matches the numbers on the door jamb pretty close. My GVWR is 5450 and if I subtract the 1200 lb payload that means the truck should have weighed 4250 when it left the factory.

About 19-20 mpg is normal for hwy driving. Around 16-17 for my everyday driving.

When I’ve gone to the dump and was charged by the ton, empty weight was right around 4500. Access cab.

My 6spd 4x4 DCSB should be around 4200lbs based on Toyota's curb weight, and what I've added and taken off. Lightest combo for a double cab 4wd from the factory though

My truck weighed in at 6420 LBS on the way to the red clay rally this past year. fully loaded for a trip, camping, tools, water, extra fuel etc. this was without my RTT, which I put on up the road a bit (friend had borrowed it) so 6550 +/- with RTT. too heavy. I dont have that truck anymore. blew the rear diff twice on that truck. weight is a killer.

it was a 2015, access cab, 4x4. front and rear bumpers, winch, rear swingout with tire carrier and jerry can. HD skids, sliders. I averaged about 14 MPG daily driving that truck.

you can weigh in at any truck stop, for a fee
