Has anyone installed a webasto 2000 stc airtop heater (gasoline) in a tacoma truck bed?

Is there an auxiliary port on the gas tank I can tap into, to provide fuel for heater? I really don’t want to do any drilling. This may determine if I have it professionally done or not.

I plan on venting it out the extra storage (near 12v) to avoid drilling into the truck bed.

Any advice for this would be helpful, all the videos are either for semi’s or vans.

Can't help, but I'm interested in this for the future so I'll be watching.

Late bump on this thread as I'm starting down this path as well and had similar questions/thoughts. @georginclay04 - did you find any info re: auxiliary port on the gas tank?

    This and that...
I did the diesel version on my camper with a Rotopax modified as the fuel tank. The install was really straight forward once you figure out the placement and exhaust venting. I doubt there is a aux port. There is a minimum and maximum for the exhaust pipe you should research. That might determine where you'll have to place it since it's a rooftop tent and not an enclosed camper.

Ah that's a smart upgrade - the fuel tanks that come with the heaters look pretty flimsy. Maybe a dumb question, but where did you end up installing the Rotopax?

I mounted my Chinese knockoff in a pelican style case and just run a dryer duct into my camper. Then I can just leave it on the shelf in my garage during the summer when I don’t need it.
