I ordered weathertechs, and they should be here today. But then I got to thinking about the factory all weather mats, and they look pretty good. Should I send back the WT’s? I have WT in my Cummins and the wife’s Tahoe and they’ve been great. Just wondering if there is a better option.

I have never had weathertechs but so far the factory all weather mats have been holding up well for me. Disclaimer: This will be the first winter of use for them, so we will see how they hold up.

Had Toyota all weather mats and they are good. Stumbled upon a full set of Weathertechs for $30 in the box. The WT mats definitely cover more area however one thing I like of the Toyota mats is they are more of a heavy rubber and lay in place, mostly noticeably on the passenger side which does not have clips(2016)

In two different vehicles, I've had weathertech, oem toyota all weather, and husky's. Of the three, the husky's and weathertechs are superior, and will protect the carpet and surrounding area better. The huskies have a more rubbery, tactile feel where as the weathertechs are more of a smooth surface.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices!

I haven't tried any others, but my weathertechs always look dirty, even after scrubbing them. They do hold water up to a point (leave the sunroof open during a downpour, the floorboard is getting wet. Ask me how I know!) Otherwise I like them, although sometimes it's tricky to get them out and dumped without spilling sand / mud / whatever on the floor.

Simple green and a scrub brush makes my weather techs look nearly new after they have been muddy/dirty. Give it a try.

My factory all weather mats look like crap after a year and a half of use. Edges are folding up due to use and they look like shit. Really wish I would have bought weathertechs instead so IMHO don’t get the factory mats.

    Had all three...
The husky exacts are the best for sure as they fit well, have more coverage and are a nice thick rubber that doesn't curl and passenger side comes with a hold down pin.

my factory mats are poop after 2 winters and getting in and out of my truck during hunting and mudding trails, weathertechs and the husky ones protect the carpet a lot better imo

edit: rip, didn't notice this was a 3rd gen topic, 3rd gen mats are probably better than 2nd gens :anonymous:

I am not terribly thrilled with the aesthetics of weathertechs, but they work. Mine are "wrinkley" on the sides, especially drivers side, and as stated above always look dirty. A car wash hose won't get them clean. I'll try simple green and a brush, but as often as I get them dirty, would prefer an easier method to clean them.

Sadly, keeping it European parking garage compliant.
I'm a Weathertech fan. I have had them in about six different vehicles. And I don't think you can beat their quality.

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
I just recently installed these 3D MAXpider mats and they have a much better fit than the factory all weather rubber mats. They are lightweight, easy to clean, and looks great. They have excellent grip on top, and bottom and doesn’t look plasticky like the Weathertechs do. I have Weathertechs in other vehicles, they were solid functionally, but the fitment were not exact.

OEM mats don't retain water that well. After a good snow or some rain, water tends to seep over the edge and onto the carpet
