I saw Weather Tech has a bed liner for the Tacoma. I was wondering if anyone bought it and what they think about it? The one I looked at was model 36014. Thanks

The Tacoma has a composite bed. Why the need for a bedliner?

    So is it a mat?

Because no one would manufacture a drop in liner for a composite bed. They wouldn't sell.

If its a mat, I can't imagine it being better than the OE mat or even a horse stall mat cut to fit.

    Got a link?

It looks pretty nice, I like the fact it has about a 2” lip on the sides. I have the OEM mat, I like it alot. Buy it , let us know, be a test guy.

If it’s anything like the floor mats. It’ll be a hard plastic. Which, everything will still slide around

    Exactly.

Not really sure what the utility is. Now the bed collects liquid rather than draining it. Kinda weird if you ask me.

Pretty pictures in a non Toyota bed.

The lip does nothing but block liquid from the drain holes and use of the D rings.

And if its slick like their floor mats, no bueno for my cargo or walking.

Heavy rubber bed mat for me. And only around $100 as well.

I watched the video. They state that it would prevent the cargo from moving around. I have the tonneau cover on. Im going to try it. If not It will be on the forum for sale in a few months..lol

If it’s the same material as the floor mats, it won’t do much for cargo slippage. The OEM bed mat, it has weird properties. Nothing slides on it.

I have the oem bed mat. It’s one of my best investments. I love it. Plus it reads “TACOMA” on it. Ya, I’m a geek for things like that... I got nothing.....

On the OEM Mat. I have one bad thing to say about it. When you first get it. It STINKS! Rubber smell bad. Bad Tacoma! Go outside! :)

I have an OEM mat, plus a cap on the bed. Every time I open the back I smell the new rubber, it’s 2 years old.

I have the Weathertech bedliner. I got it for $30 on Craigslist. It does a good job of keeping things from sliding, which was my main purpose in getting it. It's also really light. It fits like a glove.

I need to pick up one of those OEM bed mats, been meaning to, already put a nice big cut right into the bed carrying some steel around.
