I have it. Bought it last year (for $130 iirc). It works pretty good. Could pressurize it from tap, compressor or included hand pump. But yeah, more capacity would be better... for that, there's RoadShower LG :spending:

I tell ya, I have also looked at those instant hot water showers too. I also watched some vids on building them out of 4" or 6" pvc. Since I have the Viair compressor that's automatic I can hook it up and keep it pressurized continuously. Hot water though would definitely be nice at the end of a long day wheeling. Especially in the winter.

I used to have one of those set-ups
At ~4' long, 4" diameter pvc held little over 3 gals. It was fun to build, but by the time all was paid for, it really wasn't all that much cheaper than Waterport.
And Tbh I don't think I'd trust it with 50 psi (I connected a deflator to it, set at ~20 psi, just in case).

6" diameter tube would hold waay more water though. Maybe it would make more sense

Have only used it a couple of times and so far mixed feelings on the loss of pressure after a few minutes (used the hose fill method to fill and pressurize). Other than that, a great deal from costco. I had picked it up prior to the sale. It was missing the sprayer mount/bracket but a quick email over to them they had it out within a day.

Hmm... I guess I was one of the lucky ones. All things/attachments were included in the package. As of pressure, after tightening the fill port (the one with the hand pump), my unit held pressure for a few days. I used it a few times within that time just to see if still worked, and still had pressurized water on third day. Although, I didn't check it with pressure gauge, so I'm not sure of values.

Just a heads up, this kit doesn't come with a nozzle holder or neoprene sleeve. If you want to order those accessories from Waterport, they charge as much as the accessories cost in shipping. In fact they charge more shipping those accessories than they do for a waterport.

I'm returning my Waterport to Costco and buying a kit elsewhere that includes all the accessories, including all the mounts, for a much cheaper price overall.

You're right, kit doesn't come with those. Wish it would come with nozzle holder though.

If you don't mind, post a lonk to a place where you got your deal.

Rago pretty much always has 10-15% off, MELISSA15 worked for me making it $170 shipped. In this deal you're getting the sleeve, the nozzle holder, the rail mounts and the bar mounts on top of everything else in the Costco kit.

I think it's missing the pump cap but I've heard it's a PITA anyway.

Yup, pretty decent deal for those looking for a sleeve, and shower head mount, and even comes with different mounting options

Should've tested mine out before going camping, it leaks from the cap. Manufacturing defect on the top of the threaded mouth of the Waterport. Pretty disappointed but this was getting returned anyway. Hopefully my 2nd one isn't shoddy.

I contacted them via their webform about the missing nozzle holder. In the documentation (towards the end, one of the last pages) it states the holder is free and included. They promptly shipped one out to me at no charge. Its kind of cheap to be honest, doesn't hold in place as well as I expected but it does the job. I've used it a few times now and rate it as 'OK'. Not super thrilled with the PSI (filled via garden hose) and very fast fall off but it's enough to rinse off. Used it for hand washing with soap and water (thx COVID19).

That's funny. Sounds like you said the magic words. When I said I bought the Costco deal and wanted to add the accessories I wanted but weren't included, the guy acted totally normal that a $10 piece of plastic costs $20 to ship. However, looking now it seems they've fixed the shipping issue (now showing an $8 First Class mailer option).

Sorry to post so much, but it wouldn't be fair to not update on Waterport's CS. They asked for a picture of the defect mouth and said they would send a new one out right away, with a nozzle holder and the neoprene sleeve I wanted (probably because I was such a pain in the ass). So that's pretty sweet.

ordered one from costco at 160, sucks i missed the sale but really wanted one. how does everyone mount theirs? i have a voodoo rack and the bolt holes on the side are too far apart for the universal mount that came with it. anyway to mount it there without drilling holes in the side of my rack?

I used the plate it came with, but I fabricated a bracket to mount it on my swing-out.

I understand that whatever I did might not be totally helpful to you, but maybe you'll be able to attach (bolt or weld) your plate up to a piece of steel, and then bolt the whole thing to your rack. Either way, something will have to get drilled and fabbed :sawzall::welder:

Anyone know where I can buy one now?? Costco seems to have sold all of theirs? And now I can’t seem to find one anywhere…
