Made a quick little water holder for my Death Valley trip this weekend.... should hold 3.5 gallons give or take a few drops..... its abs so I'm not gonna pressurize it.... ill just let the sun heating it up and gravity do its thing..... lets see some pics of how you haul your water on wheeling camping trips

Nice, I have an on board shower that I e made with a heat exchanger for hot water, I have 2 five gallon buckets I take full of water, or i can drop a hose to a water source, or hook a hose up to it, it's really nice to have a shower when camping

I like where this is going. I built an off-road trailer that I plan on putting a 24g tank in, a 2.5gpm 12V pump and a large deep cycle battery.

Also have a SWC that can be pressurized.

Nice! How are you attaching the pvc to the rack? I just ordered all the parts for my water setup in the camper, then going to move to the shower

Can’t you use PVC that’s rated for pressure and pressurize it?

I'm curious about this too. I like taking extra water when I go camping. Currently i just take a 6 gallon water container and throw it in the bed. Wonder if there's any water containers out there that are made specifically to fit the Tacoma beds. Like in front of or behind the wheel well cut outs.

I attached mine with two hose clamps it worked great.... it was nice having the water to wash stuff with on our last trip... theres a company called road shower but there about $500. They are aluminum tanks and you can pressurize it and I think they are claiming get up to a 4 min shower out of it

How did you attach the pressure relief valve.... I got some tank threaded bungs for the hose bib that you drill and have a rubber washer and nut on and internal npt theard but nothing close to small enough for a prv there only like 1/4” smallest Bung I found was 1/2” and needed bushing down

Pipe tape and threaded it in with thread sealant. It a 50 psi relief and i haven't had any issues. The schrader valve was a heavy duty one with a nut and rubber washers thay was through bolted.

So you just taped the pipe itself ... I thought about that but there just didn’t seem like a lot of meat for it to stay in there

Yep. My plan was to put a nut on the back, but the threaded part of the pressure relief was the same length as the pipe wall was thick.

Can you share links to the schrader valve, pressure relief valve, filling coupler?

My buddy has a setup that runs 1/4" or so copper pipe around the exhaust manifold. This is fed by a pressurized tank similar to what is seen here. One end of the copper has a quick release fixture for intake, the other for attaching a shower head. Works really well.

Nice, 3.5 seems like plenty but if you ever go on extended camping trips, that extra capacity might come in handy!
