When I got it back from repair, my 3rd reverse light wasn’t turning on so I’m assuming they replaced it? But now there is water leaking again. They had redone the window repair again. But now I’m thinking they caused this leak from the brake light.

Isn’t there a recall for the third brake light assembly well? I seem to recall a whole thread for that issue. Either way it seems like the shop that did the work forked this up my friend. Talk to them first and see if they can fix it. That’s what I would do.

You should be able to pop that liner off and get a better look at where the water is coming from.

Since you have wet spot all the way across top of window, it could be missing seal in window frame.. not sure if leak from brake light would spread out like that.. if you had window repair recently, take it back to shop and demand them to fix it at no charge since it’s their fault. After that done, you can replace brake light seal yourself or Toyota dealer.

What do you mean by this?

    Thank you;
I’m just trying to figure out is this from brake light or the window repair they have done
Mind you this is series of events.
    1. Original issue was a dent repair in September 2024 on the pillar frame above my driver door. They had to take off the bed and the entire window assemble allegedly for paint access.

    2. When I picked it up 2 weeks later paint overspray and scratches on my truck. Also my reverse light on bottom left and 3rd brake light reverse light wasn’t working.

    4. Pick it up again, when I get home I find a bunch of screws in my cup holder and the storage behind my backseat is not put back correctly. Also, trim piece by the windows on the corners is popping out not put back correctly.

    5. Pick it up again and this time a week later this issue happened; but back in November. Water on headliner and around top of window.

    6. Now I’m here in February 2025 with more water leaking from same areas.

would you take it back again to same place?

When u put the truck in reverse; the truck bed light turns on. It’s apart of the 3rd brake light assembly

    you have two options:

    1) take to the shop for leak fix which their fault…. Or
    2) take it to dealer but you may pay out of your pocket.. if the previous shop was a dealer, then take it to other dealer and go from there…. See if they can cover that with warranty if you have it. Otherwise, contact the corporation for the issues you have.

I have not heard glowing reviews, but have no firsthand experience either.
Of course, they are a large operation, so with as many vehicles as they fix, there are likely to be bad stories. A good autobody shop is hard to find, many hacks.

i had caliber collision fix an older vehicle after an accident, i had missing foam support in the trunk so when i got groceries the bags fell down to the spare tire, Missing plastic clips for the rear bumper, they glued the tow eye access panel to the frame with glue and it popped off when i put my foot on the bumper. Afrer my review they changed the shop name.

They were more concerned with me giving a good review than they were about doing a good job. I wouldnt piss on their shop if it was on fire.
