    Hey all,

I kinda really just wanna post some sick pics I took poser flexing while I was exploring hwy1. I’m also intrigued cus I see all about hitting the pinch weld but haven’t see washer bottle issues - unless my search sucks.
    Caster:
    2.9L
    3.3R

I just went from my maxxis ST 255/85/16 to k02 285/75/16.
255 were taller and narrower. Now I’m less tall but wider. Anyways. Look at some poser flex and comment on my washer bottle rub.

    The rear looks good.

Good to know. I was always intrigued as to why my wheel was not centered within the wheel well. Didn’t know you could do that.

Why am I not on the pinch weld in front though?? I see everyone crying about the pinch weld but for some reason I’m all up on the washer bottle. I don’t think it has to do with the approach angle the truck was in as the strut tower is essentially fixed front to back angle (caster).

Maybe if I turned harder driver the inner side of tire could touch the pinch weld in that last pic ?
Edit: nvm the first and second pic are the same position and I looked pretty hard driver.

I'm not sure why you aren't into the pinch weld. I had stock UCAs and OME suspension and when I went up to a 32" tire I was rubbing the plastic on top of the pinch weld.
So I remove it, bashed in the pinch weld and then hair dryer/heat gun formed the plastic back so it didn't rub when I had the wheel turned about halfway and entering driveways and compressing the suspension.

From your photos above, I would assume that the driver side would be touching/rubbing on the pinch weld at the cab. If you turned your passenger tire all the way out (truck going right) then maybe it would be rubbing on the pinch weld then.

It also looks like you're dropping into a downhill spot from a flat area. Try approaching that spot coming from the other way and PUSH the front tires into the hillside. That's when the bushings may compress in a way that lets you see the tires getting close to the pinch weld.

I didn’t mention I’m on icon UCAs but figure the caster number would indicate a non oem UCA. Maybe that’s just why. I got a positive caster.

Nice pickup and flex! looks great. I smashed my OEM washer bottle with my tire. replaced with one in the engine bay that was out of a 95 2WD toyota pickup. My 98 even had holes to mount it to. Slick

You can either move the bottle or lower the bumpstops and limit uptravel. Its nice that you are pushed forward and don't have to mess with the pinch weld. I would still hit it with a hammer and flatten it out though. It takes a few mins, and you never know what will start hitting what while you are in the trail.
