Want To Buy! Need 2 Toyota part # 48473-04031 Can U Help?

Hey Guys & Gals.

I thought I would ask here before forking out $219 out the door from my local dealer!
I need 2 / two of the number 10 part in the link below.
Toyota calls the part a “Lower Spring Seat” It’s the formed piece of steel that the U-bolts drop through on a 05-15, 5 lug. The piece holds the rear leaf springs to the rear axle and the bottom of the rear shocks bolt / are attached to this piece / part / seat. It’s a part that many just disregard.
It’s a shot in the dark. And yes I have been asking wrecking / junk yards for over week now, searched FleBay and Craigslist. Facebook Marketplace search engine is stupidly setup!

The reason I need them is CalTracs reuses / welds a bracket to them.
And with the LS Swap in my 5 lug going to break something if I don’t come up with something to stop the wheel hop.

 

Im taking a set off this weekend

edit it is for a 6 lug though

 

OP, I would see if the parts are the same between the two, you might be fine getting the 6 lug one. It's just the leaf spring plate, and lots of guys take them off to do the ubolt flips or like me and go SUA. Sadly mine is already long gone.

Trust me the 6 lug part is not even close.
The 6 lug lower shock mount is welded to the differential, the 5 lug lower shock mount is part of the plate.
There are all kinds of 6 lug spring plates available 5 lug not so much…

 

OH, sorry, reading comprehension. I didn't see you said they were all in one piece. I thought you just needed the leaf spring piece not a combo leaf/shock part. TIL.

 

Why not build new ones out of heavier steel that will hold up better, they are easy to build.

 

Thanks for the suggestion and thinking about my situation. I love this website because of all the information and help you can get from other members. Yeah there’s a few bad apples but for the most part it’s a really helpful community!

If I had the equipment and I don’t, plus I don’t think you could have them built for $200.

Some will show up sooner or later. I found a few guys who have just tossed theirs in the trash.
or I fork out the money and buy a new set.

Also just found out that Calvert Racing / CalTracs will supply them for $200. They said they only had 2 left.
But then the next guy will be screwed.

There’s not too many of us 5 luggers out there modifying.
My base model w/ PS, AC and power nothing else 05 and 07 are troopers. They never die and will get you where you are going. May not be the fastest, most style or the most luxurious but it beats walking.
Only issue is power steering racks that leak after 150k miles. Just keep the fluids changed and it’s million mile truck.
