So these are on sale for $108 each and the 265/75R16 we all seem to want... but I saw a couple tacoma guys complain the wet traction sucks on these?

Any confirmation? I saw the AT3 Coopers seem to be rated well but these are the Walmart exclusives so I'm guessing an older model and or different compound? I was originally planning on wildpeaks. Do you think it's worth saving 200?

Would love to know thanks guys/gals!

can't help with the Walmart info, but if you're at all hesitant (and I would be) then it's worth spending a few extra bucks to get the tires that you know will perform better and keep you safe.

It is common practice for the Big Box stores to have special requirements for their stock.

This makes comparisons difficult. Your best path is to look at the tire ratings on the side wall. There will be ratings for traction, wear and temperature.

Compare the WM Cooper ratings with the ratings from a COOPER dealer tire. If the WM Copper are lower, then you have the answer.

    From Discount Tire>
    Cooper Discover AT3 4S, ratings Treadwear 620, Traction A, Temperature B.

    From WM, Ratings not listed.

    What these mean.
Treadwear base is 500. So 620 means the tire is expected to last 120% more than the base.
Traction is defined on wet pavement. AA is the top rating, A is the second. C is the worst.
Temperature has a top rating of A. C is the worst.
