My SR5 came with Toyo Open County A31 so I can't say. compared to the tires I did have no difference that I can hear.

That’s awesome your truck came with Toyo AT3’s from the dealership. I’m curious, what size?

Also, I noticed your in York, what dealership did you use? I’m in Delaware County and couldn’t find the taco I wanted at any local dealers and ended up finding my 22 at Bennett in Allentown.

The stock tires I had were highway treads no All trerains..... I wish though.

I actually had a difficult time in July 2020 too. York Toyota had some trucks but they just wanted to add silly stuff like pinstripes, Nitrogen filled tires and snake oil paint treatments. They didn't want to negotiate at all past sticker price. We aren't even going to talk about the offer for my trade and what they wanted to say about it.

I ended up contacting several dealers around. Bill Kidds north of Baltimore MD gave me the best deal and found the truck in my 1st choice of color.
I decided to sell my Liberty CRD on my own that worked in my favor since there was a shortage of used cars by the time I got it ready to go.

I am not sure if anyone answered the Q about road noise -- I have the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s and they are quieter than the Michelin Defenders they replaced and although I can't remember exactly 2 tires ago, I believe they are not louder than the original Wrangers my 2017 TRD OR came with. That's the best I have for ya.

Thanks for your input! I'd read that the Coopers are noisier than the stock tires on my 2019 TRD OR (Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Kitten Krunchin Adventure).

Glad to hear that they're not too hateful. :)

I went to Shrewsbury PA Walmart as well. Great to deal with, they never questioned the larger size tire. These fit well, my 04 had Goodyear Authority 75’s from Walmart and they did rub a little.

Evening dudes, Is this a good deal? I only have 30k on the original(purchased new) Toyo A30 OpenCountry and guess I have another 20k or so left. I can company expense these until the end of the year. Thanks!

I think I paid $720 for 4 last month so that’s in the ballpark.

Anybody else pull the trigger on these Wal-Mart Specials?
Looks like there too good of a deal to pass up.

Also what is a typical expectation for mileage on truck tires?

I keep hearing 30k miles is about all your going to get on average.

Where are you hearing that the tires only last 30k miles? That would be ridiculous.....

Just looked on walmart and didnt see them anymore.

Nice muffler, I have that one on my G650GS. I made a stainless steel screen baffler to quiet it down a bit and add a little back pressure.

I can attest to that. At a tick over 14K on my TRD OR with the Wranglers they're half worn already. Also wet traction is suffering slightly. This will be the last winter for these tires. Probably going to go with the Cooper AT3's as well, but from a local place that sells tires for cost.

However, I do drive up and down a curvy mountain pretty spiritually so that plays a factor in my tire wear. The factory tires on my GTI were spanked at 25K and Camry at 30K. I don't get the recommended life outta tires :spy:

Just to update I did purchase these through Wally and had them mounted this past weekend.

So far so good hopefully they hold up well.

Roughly $650 for tires, mount and balance, and alignment pretty fucking cheap for A/T tires....

Re-opening an old thread I know... but do you know if the wally tires have the 3 peak snow symbol on them? Just found out they do LT265/75R16 123R for $160 each!

The tires do not have that mountain symbol.
My Wildpeaks had that on them. These don't have the sidewall tread on them.
I think these are Coopers original A/T design probably why they're on the cheap side.
They are just a M+S tire.

I went to Walmart and looked at them in person and yeah I think they are the same tires that I got in 2012, or very similar. Interestingly though they have 14/32 tread, online said 12/32. Also they weigh exactly the same as the at3 4s that I just had installed so presumably the only difference is tread design. The Wally tire has lots of pairs of siping on the outer blocks where as the AT3 has lots of triples…

I ultimately went for the at3 4s as it was only $120 out the door difference and I have peace of knowledge that these tires will be better in snow/ice.

Otherwise I think I would have been happy with the Wally tires if I didn’t need the 3peaks…
