    Okay…red dot newbie question here.

Found that the PSA store has a crazy deal on the Vortex Strikefire 2, how does that optic compare to the Holosun 510c?

Was also thinking about purchasing the Holosun combo of the Holosun 3x Magnifier and 510c, but then I found another deal for the Vortex VMX 37 at Optics Planet (unfortunately it is sold out at PSA and I wouldn’t be able to purchase both at once).

Sorta bottom line - I am looking for a quality budget friendly red-dot optic with a magnifier as well. The Holosun combo is an all in one deal but at regular price it comes in higher than the two separate Vortex purchases from different online stores.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

#1 id shop literally anywhere else other than Optics Planet
#2 the 510c is a holo sight similar to Eotech while the Strikefire is a red dot that is sort of a clone of an Aimpoint Pro...youll need to figure out which actual style of optic is what you want and go that route

Both listed optics are just strictly red dots just differences in how they look. The strikefire is big. The 510 is a more modern design and is smaller. Lots of people use the 510 and are very happy with it. The strikefire is something you typically get early and then realize it’s too big for what it offers.

there’s definitely tons of vendors to look for optics. Optics planet that you mentioned is fine, if, and it’s a big if, the item is actually in stock. Do not believe their listed lead times for something out of stock.

Check over on the gundeals reddit. Type in what you’re looking for at the top and these vendors are likely to give you the best deals.

    Same crap everyone else got
skip gundeals and go to GAFS. Gun deals is mostly just useful for ammo and actual complete gun deals. All other accessories you can find on GAFS for much less than what they will be even on sale new.

for sure. But not everyone wants to buy second hand starting out. Gundeals you can at least get good deals from companies.
