Am I correct that certain colours - apparently TDR Pro colours - usually stick around for 2 years?

A dealer told me Voodoo Blue sells well so it will be here to stay. Didn't sound well informed, and I thought reading somewhere on TW about this.

If I'm purchasing in Canada, and dead-set on Voodoo Blue, am I risking it by waiting till next year?

    A few.
There is no set time for a former pro color to stick around on the lower trims. Cavalry blue was only used 1 year. Other colors stick around many years. Voodoo blue will likely return for 2022 because they need to offer a blue color and there isnt any other blue currently.

Cement is on it's fourth year of non-exclusive production. Cavalry was around for one year.

So no one really knows.... Especially a dealer.

I would expect Voodoo blue to remain an option though. If any colour disappears I would bet it's Cement and is replaced with Lunar Rock.

I just had a salesperson say this was the last year there would be voodoo blue option (after I signed for the truck), but the dealer could be misinformed.

I'm thinking the lunar rock will only be available on the trail edition next year...and they keep voodoo for the sport and off road. But I'm probably wrong.
