Actually if Kyle has the proper wire to mate to the LPX, he mentioned crimping wires. Like in the pic I posted.

 

Dave should have plenty of WP2s and 1’s. I can send him the pin out for the LPX.

Your TACO will have a multiple string of back-to-back connections. But yes.

You could add the LPX on the passenger side and not touch the driver's side DIR install.

 

Cool light, but anyone else wish they would have made it into a whole plate frame rather than a bar that hugs the plate at the top (so you can't have a actual plate frame)?

Honestly I’d prefer a frame which provides LED plate illumination without glare from top and sides. Don’t need extra reverse or brake lighting at my plate location, taillights are good for that for me.

It would make the DIR stuff unnecessary and also work well with swing outs that place the plate further back and block the stock plate lights.

Like a nice version of this.

 

I like the idea of having a brake light in an unexpected spot so that those behind me might take notice when they otherwise might not. More light when reversing never hurts.

Those 30" under-tailgate light bars might be a bit tacky, but they DO get noticed.

(been in 3 noteworthy accidents ever, every time it was getting hit from behind while stopped, so I'm a bit paranoid)

Tacoma specific LPX kit.

 

No there should not be any issues — you will just daisy chain the harnesses together on the one side the LPX harnesses are plugged in. Make sure they don’t pinch when you close the light back up. Clearance is the only concern.
