Finally got done with the trailer wiring and installing the wheels. It was hot, I'm beat, but she looks great now

I can say this much about the Vision wheels specifically in the 16x8 0 offset package. It's an slightly odd wheel that may not work with other color trucks IMO. The black seems to disappear more when pitted up against a dark color truck, mainly black. The lack of a deep dish appearance may deter some as well, but with a stock height you may run into problems real quick with an rim pushed out more than a 4.5" backspace already does. To me it fits very nice and the 265/70r16 looks a tad beefier and a bit taller compared to worn tires. This package is light (from me moving them around to put on the truck) and I expect little to no gas mileage change. Any bigger tire and I may have to lift it slightly due to the wheels sitting out more.

Not too great with a camera but I tried to get different angles for contrast

Do they stick out at all from the fender? If so, by how much?

The stock wheels and tire size remained within the well. These are roughly even with the fender flares with some tire bulge sticking out.

Drove to work this morning and noticed a shimmy in the steering wheel. May need some rings for this set as a precaution for others.

Oh no! A shimmy? That would be a balance issue correct? How were they not balanced correctly?

Could be either. I have contacted discount tire direct and they have instructed me to have them checked for high runout to see if any need replacing. However, I found out that the wheels have a 110mm hub bore while stock are 106mm. I want to eliminate the 4mm difference before opening that can of worms of shipping wheels and tires. I have ordered the rings and they are on the way. I believe therein lies the issue (hub centric vs lug centric).

Just saw this post. I'm running the Vision wheels with 265/75R16 Hankook tires on my '13. I had to trim the bump on the front mud flaps to stop a very light rub when at turned at lock. I've had no issues at all and the fit without issue or needing any rings. I got them from Discount Tire Direct. I had them road force balanced when I bought the package.

Idk... luck of the draw perhaps. Had them road force balanced as well. They also claim that the lug nuts sent should correct the need for rings. Common sense says get the rings anyway since the bore differences are 4mm. Other's experiences align with that train of thought.

Perhaps... The lug nuts fit fairly snug and align the rims. I run studded snows on the steelies in the winter and this is the second summer running the visions without issue. I rotated the tires too.

I've been running the Vision Warriors with 265 x 70 x 17 Goodyear Duratracs for about 15,000 miles now on my 2011. Perfection so far! Even though my suspension is stock (for now) there is no rubbing even at full lock. Off road they grab like crazy!

Hub rings arrived today. Again in the hot sun removing and reinstalling each wheel. The fit was good and the shimmy is gone. I will say this... yes you can probably do the same with the right nuts but id rather not gamble when the rings are cheap, quick, and work.

Good to hear the vibration/shimmy is gone.

Not going to lie. I was a bit nervous. I didn't want to go through the hassle of locating an authorized installer and returning stuff if there proved to be an issue. There were quite a bit of weights added to balance them. There was even a spot where it looks like D.T.D. might have had a hard time getting them right. Like weights were applied and removed. But all is well for now. Lesson learned.

Those wheels really set off the color. Great stance with some beefy feet. Looks real good!
