So been seeing a lot of 3rd gen guys “viper cutting” their front bumpers. I’m wondering if anyone’s tried it with a second gen, I’ve already cut a lot for fitment anyhow thinking of giving it a try, opinions?
    Thinking of cutting white line

Only issue I see, is there no really good body line on the 2nd gen to follow so it might look like an after thought. But hell of your game I say go for it.

Absolutely entitled to that opinion. I too find many mods that people do pretty revolting. Either way it worked out for me for a while. When you actually need the clearance it can def help

It looks like the bumper was cut with a saw and has no cosmetic flow to it. Our trucks have round shapes everywhere and a straight cut just doesn't look good. It's done to be able to see more of the front tires like you would see with an aftermarket bumper but it's a definite miss IMO.

But whatever, chop it up, other's opinions didn't stop me from hacking up my truck.

Ah, the 16 inch wheels make them look like 37's compared to my 17's. I've got 285/70/17. Decent tires for the money, they're cupping like mad though.
