    I searched High and low for a Flat dark earth'ish color vinyl. No-go. So just settled on "midnight sand metallic" in my 2nd gen;;

    One of the main reasons I choose Quicksand; I will eventually vinyl wrap it FDE:bananadance:
    so the door jambs/etc won't look as bad.

    Actually it's not that easy! We do wraps at work and I had the pros do it and even they said it wasn't that easy with the grooves, sunroof, antennae and brake light.

    Took a few guys to get it done!

    I park my truck outside at work and kind of want to get a wrap for the roof so I don't get sun fading. My last car had it badly just on the roof and I want to avoid that. Also, I think that black roof will look good against the MGM

    Let me know how it goes. Are they going to have to remove the shark fin and 3rd brake light?

    didn't one guy here remove that 3rd brake light and then his
    interior flooded when it wasn't sealed all the way?

    Not sure.

    Just wondering if I would need a new gasket for the 3rd brake light...

    I'm still a few months out but I'll be wrapping my truck and will take plenty of pictures :thumbsup:

    No I haven't done it before.
    No I don't have any experience.
    It'll be several weekends of work, and a lot of hours and probably still have some bubbles. I'm just hoping doing so many sets of dirt bike graphics I can carry over some of those skills.

    looks like 250$ is the running cost to have someone install it... I'm sure it can't be that bad, I can buy the 3m 1080 MATTE black in 5ft x 5ft for 50 bucks

    lol, I've thought of doing the entire hood/roof with it but it's not going to
    stick very well without scuffing up the surface and that was not something
    I was willing to do. Ever use dip without scuffing it up first?
