How much should I expect to pay for a vinyl wrap on a DCSB? Ball park?

I agree, 3-5k+ the color and type of film will make the cost change as well. Now remember, wraps dont last forever either. How long it lasts will depend a lot on how you use your vehicle, maintain it, and climate. A cheaper wrap may only last 2 years and a nicer one can last up to 7 years but depends on the variables above.
Personally, im not a fan of wraps. Even the high end ones dont have the clarity of a good paint job and its a lot of money for something that only lasts a couple years. But to each their own

I wanna say a place in Harford County is about 4K. Their site isn’t loading right now but I’ve gotten 2 cars tinted and they did a great job. http://aplusautostyling.com/

Makes sense. I'm just trying to preserve the look of the truck. The super white Toyota paint isn't exactly the best. Would you think a ceramic coating be a better investment?

I might have to check them out. I'd hope to have the wrap last 10+ years.

    Ten years?
Does this truck get stored in a garage and only driven to church on Sundays?

No, but I don't know much about wraps so if it can't last that long, I'd reconsider.

Car vinyl is the thickness of a contractor-type trash bag.
I'd put its lifespan on a truck that gets dailied at maybe 1 to 2 years. 3 yrs max.

Are you maybe talking about paint protection film and not vinyl?

Honestly, for something stored outside and daily driven, ceramic coating isnt really worth the price. Id have a good detail shop do a paint correction and do a sealant/wax then just keep up with washes amd waxing

I guess I was referring to a "wrap" that can cover the entire truck's painted service that can be for business or just a solid color. I would have thought they would last a lot longer considering a lot of the business vehicles I see around look like they've been on the road for quite some time. I was maybe hoping to apply a wrap to protect the paint but maybe change the color while I'm at it. Which isn't crucial. If I had a choice, I would.

Yea I've got that in the works at the end of the month. Truck's paint is dull and oxidized. Shop said they can fix it up good. I suppose I'm just over thinking.

@boogie3478 had a wrap on his truck for a while. Maybe he can chime in with personal experience.

I have an 08 Tacoma that I purchased new. I live in SOCAL and we deal with mostly sunny conditions. The roof paint (silver) is starting to fade which is a common theme with older Toyota vehicles in SOCAL. I got quoted 3k to wrap my Tacoma in silver. All of the shops I spoke with told me due to sun here I would get 2 to 3 years before the wrap could start to crack.

Anyone else remember that one kid in school that was such a horrific social outcast that if they dared show up to class wearing a cool brand, it was considered to be no longer cool by week's end? That was Stephan. He ruined trapper keepers for us permanently. Mom was pissed the day I came home and asked for a plain 2" binder.

Anyways... I noticed that two cybertrucks showed up in my neighborhood this week, one wrapped in matte baby pink, the other in matte powder blue. ...I no longer have any desire to wrap my vehicle. They ruined it. Its not cool anymore. Dammit Stephan, you did it to me again.

Wraps WILL NOT last in sun. period. 10 years is not possible unless its garage kept and barely in the sun. Save for a new quality paint job. In the mean time, wax with UV protection is your best friend. Ceramic coating wont really help if its already on the downward slope
