I used google, and checked- auto-interior, jcwhitney, stockinteriors, stylintrucks, summitracing, .com

they all have vinyl floors for 1st gen tacomas, but nothing for 2nd gen double cabs. This truck has been around for a while. Why no vinyl floors for 2nd gen 05-11 ???

    anybody have one?

I have searched on here for bed liner or rubberspray the floor, but the 2nd gen has too many loose wires and sh1t that would have to be cut and re-wired.

If I cant find a vinyl floor, Im going to have to take out the carpet, spray it with bedliner or rubercoating then put it back in... I guess ???

I am on hold with a dealership right now, and they dont think toyota sells it. they have never seen it in a second gen...

Toyota has the OEM all-weather/vinyl floor you can get. Not sure on what the cost was. A couple threads on here that talk about it.

I wouldn't mind vinyl floors either but my rubber mats satisfy me for now. I have no need to hose out the truck after outings. Why are you wanting them? Ease of cleaning?

^ yes, ease of cleaning or rather just leaving it dirty and cleaning it once yearly... I hate carpet, it gets moldy, soaks up water and pee, fookin slurpee, all that sh/t I cant even understand why they would put carpet in a freakin 4x4 truck. Like im not gonna have dirty boots, a filthy dog, or even just a 2 year old man-cub with ice cream.

    carpet is stupid.

Im coming to the conclusion that nobody makes a vinyl floor for the secon gen. I am the google master and all I can find is stuff for 1st gen tacos

I had a vinyl floor in a Honda Element. It showed and looked way more dirty than carpet and was dangerous slippery when wet. I was not a fan after owning it. ;)

I wouldn't mind vinyl either. My '90 was totally vinyl, even had the vinyl headliner. Couple times a year I'd yank the bench seat (4 bolts, no wiring, seatbelt plugs pull right through), soapandwater the headliner, the door panels, the flooring, the rear wall, then pop the drain plugs, take the hose and spray everything off. Vinyl seat also, so could soap it down when it was outside the cab and spray it off. Only took about 11/2 hrs in the driveway.

But, I think the carpet keeps the cab quieter, the fabric headliner also. That '90 was a very noisy cab.

Thank you for inconveniencing yourself to aid on a strangers search for advice. I apologize that I did not search hard enough for your thread in the first place.

That is for 2012 and newer Tacomas. So if you have a 2012 or newer, you can order this below

I called another dealer and they want $495.00 for this but they were pretty sure it wont fit in an 05-11

Why not go weathertechs or something along that line? Install would obviously be easier. And with my two kids they have protected pretty well.

Not sure if it will fit but that part number search on Camelback Toyota and I think I remember it being under 400 on there.

^ The dealer says no... but I don't think they give a F**k anyway.

I was hoping some actual owners would chime in. thank you!

You know it's the same truck, with a different front end, stereo and steering wheel, right?
