Not a tacoma, but the car I am getting rid of when my tacoma arrives in two weeks...

I have a 2000 buick century that I am giving away to my nephew when I get my new truck so I am trying to get a few things fixed.

Anyway, I have a strong vibration happening when I turn the wheel to the right (like on the highway exiting ramp). I replaced the right front cv axle thinking that was probably the problem,,but its still there. What would you look for next?

Again, if I am veering right off highway and I take my foot off the gas the vibration immediately stops,,,and doesn't happen (at least noticeably when I am going straight or left steering wheel turn)

Also of note, I replaced the cv axle myself :) :) . Seemed fine, not that complex. But its also not worse or better now, kind of exactly the same as before. Thanks fo rthe help everyone :)

GM FWD's are known for many things.

I found the that lower control arms fail often and it makes odd symtoms. Inspect the control arm and try prying it.

Next check for ball joint, wheel bearing and tie rod play.

Thanks I will look at all those again this weekend. I also recently replace the wheel bearing hub as those were bad. Am I wrong to assume it is passenger side I should be focused on?

I never check only one side, plus you want to compare them left to right.
