I recently noticed at about 55 mph, when I went around left curves the truck "smooths" out. There is a slight vibration felt in the seat when going straight or going around right curves. It is not real noisy just a slight vibration. I am thinking a right side wheel bearing is bad. Not sure if it would be front or back. Will jack up both to check wheel play. Any other thoughts or theories? Truck has 136,000 miles on it with no record of any wheel bearing replacements before I bought it.

Front left wheel bearing I'd think. Taking the turn removes the load from the left wheel.

I had a similar problem. I had vibes except when I turned left. It was the front passenger wheel bearing. BamaToy fixed me up. It's an easy job with the right tools.

My wheel bearing failed at 20,000 miles.

Sounds like what I fixed by replacing the wheel bearing/hub with this:

    http://www.marionbumper2bumper.com/...-Lexus-GX470-2010-2015-Lexus-GX-460-p70724306

    On TW:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-ive-done-the-work-you-save-the-money.288282/

Was only noisier on the the drivers side (unless turning) but I replaced both sides and it was fixed.

But yeah, I'd guess it's your bearing. I replaced the whole thing because it wasn't terrible expensive and I didnt have the pullers or press to replace the bearing only.

I jacked up the front end and there is no wheel play in either of the front tires. The passenger tire sounds louder when I hand spin it vs the drivers tire. Not sure if that is bearing noise or the brake pads touching.

It's been my experience the wheel bearing that's loaded in the turn goes silent . As in , if a left turn silences the noise , it's the right bearing .

That's my truck also, very whiny except for left turns. I have a new hubs, gusseted spindles and a big brake kit waiting for a free weekend to install.
