I am having a hard time finding the VSS Sensor A. I have replaced all four tire VSS and both Driver and Passenger side of the transmission and still the OBD shows VSS A. I even called the parts dept of the local Toyota dealership and could not get an exact answer.

Anyone out there who may or know exactly where the Sensor A is located?

    I'm asuming your getting a P0500 code?
Do you have a manual or automatic transmission?

The automatic transmission trucks do not have a Speed Sensor A, instead the vehicle speed is read by the ABS module and reported to the intrument cluster which then reports it to the PCM.
The P0500 sets when the PCM sees no speed signal input with the vehicle moving, if your speedmeter works then the ABS side of the system is good and you have a problem with the cluster or a wiring issue between the cluster and PCM.
The only real way to check the signal is with an oscilloscope, I can post the relavent info later when I get to my PC meanwhile maybe @TnShooter will post a link to a thread where it is already posted.

I just worked thru this issue with my truck for several months. P0500 code. Everything was working fine except getting that code. Dealership 'diagnosed' it as the abs module, but they couldn't fix it bc Toyota doesn't make that part anymore. Sourced a used one, replaced just the module but was still getting the code. In my case it was the instrument cluster (which Toyota doesn't make anymore either) so I bought one from Tanin auto. Not a cheap fix. There's good info in that other thread and a good youtube video where the tech shows the drop in signal which can cause this issue. In my particular case anyway.

Dm93: would it be worth just replacing the PCM?

    PCMs rarely fail.
If your speedometer works most likely the instrument cluster is bad but the only way to verify signal is with a scope.
