Bought the VeePeak awhile back and it works beautifully with many apps.

I’m trying to download a year of the Carista app to no avail. It requires entering your vehicle to check for compatibility and lines through the option to download due to incompatibility.

I know the Carista app is compatible with my 2017 from the many threads here.

Have I overlooked a simple work around? I really want this combination to work.

    Thanks!

Is it plugged into your car while trying to download?

I don’t see veepeak on the Carista app as an option. Besides customization, I think OBD fusion is more useful.

Alright! After a lot of experimentation, I’ve gotten the VeePeak and Carista app to talk to one another. Here’s how to do it.

Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone.

Plug in the VeePeak to the OBDII connector. Turn key to ON, not start.

Initiate the Carista app. This will pair the VeePeak to the app. When asked what kind of hardware you are using, select KIWI 3.

I recommend selecting CUSTOMIZE from the options available. An option will pop up, allowing you to choose what length of service you wish to purchase.

Bam, everything takes place and you’re on your way.

Please note, when you select DIAGNOSE, there is nearly a two minute delay as the app checks your truck out.

When you select the SERVICE option, the only thing I’m getting is an Emmissions Test.

I’m completely happy that everything works together perfectly. If you’re considering the Carista app, it is not useful for live data, it only checks for faults and allows customizations. You’ll need another app for data. I can confirm that Dash Command works well with the VeePeak.

Ive included all available options I was given to customize my truck.
