"Van Life" Camper Build

    I finished up my camper build a while back but have been too lazy to make a video. I wanted this build to allow the truck to remain usable for hauling stuff but still livable enough for a cross-country trip with the camper outfitted. Nothing in this build is permanent. It is all bolt-on or parts removed and can be put back on (back seat delete).



    At one point I was planning to use an NV200 van for my trip. After a couple of sketchy trips on washed-out gravel roads, I decided to go in the direction of the Tacoma. Overall I think it will get me into more places without sacrificing too many creature comforts. I always have the option of a rooftop tent or pulling a small RV if I want more comfort.

    That trailer brake controller angle looks kinda of low.
    You haven’t banged you knee or shin on it yet. :D
