Wanting to get another valet key made only. Don't need the fob. Tried the local stealership but not interested in paying that.
Local locksmith says he can do them MUCH cheaper than the dealer just hasn't been able to get the 2016 Taco valet key blanks yet. Or so he says.
Anyone had a valet key cut by a locksmith for a 2016 Taco?

How much is the blank from the dealership? I've bought OEM Honda blanks for laser cut keys for like $9

The dealership didn't give me the option of a blank. He only offered me the whole key/fob/they cut it.
I would have jumped on a key blank for $9.00.

    Thanks for the link.
The local locksmith said he has the machine that cuts these oddball keys.
Says he can get the 2015 blanks just not the 2016 blanks. Not exactly sure what the difference is between the two. This all was back last summer and I was just wondering if anyone has had one made lately. If so I was going to tell him the blanks were out now and to get one.
