Well duh! But what’s the best kind? I only have elmers and I’d rather eat it.

I can see other spots so this seems like a problem I need to fix right.

I bought some new Deaver Stage II leafs packs and realized that my Stage III packs are better for my current build. Stage II's are for sale, but I don't want to violate any rules on the forum with posting stuff for sale in this thread. Is it ok to post TW link for the leafs in this thread?

If you’re linking it back to a BST post I don’t see why not, plus your over the minimum post number, your just cross posting which I believe is all good.

I have their shower cube and it's great quality. Honestly MUCH nicer than I expected for only $250, compared to $600 for the Alu Cab one.

@cwhet10 has their awning and I recall her speaking highly of it as well

At the 13 minute mark seems very annoying to fold that awning up.

To me the simple ARB awning seems easier to take down. Not sure.

Much better. I just watched the ARB awning video take down video that was posted here before.

Nomadic 270 awning take down time: 2:36 min
ARB 2500 awning take down time: 2:05 min

So not sure the 270 awning is still easier to take down. Maybe easier, but not faster..

In reality, if we're talking the difference between seconds and a few minutes... it's probably time to get a tall & long van so you just have permanent indoor shelter.
For me, it's more the issue of - if I get an awning that requires legs, do I bring sand bags or buy several smaller water jugs to hold them down when I can't stake the legs into rock? Is it waterproof in rain or will it pool and weep through and drip on me?

True. I am not looking for the fastest setup/take down time. I am just looking for not to spend a fortune on an awning.

I see the new ARB 2500mm awnings come with a LED strip included. Tried doing a quick youtube search and not much info out there.

I've got a non-LED version. I used to be obsessed with lights but in the end they usually become bug magnets. I would rather have the flexibility of being able to put what type of lights I want/need wherever I want them rather than having to use what ARB is overcharging for.

Seems like the non led is the same price as the led version. Other sites its more expensive going with the LED though. Not sure its worth getting the LED light if its the same price or it might cause issues down the road?

Does anyone have an early-ish Drifter with the metal clip for the support tube? I "upgraded" to the current rubber clip but they only come in 2-packs from what I could find, so I have an extra.

If you could use this, just pay for shipping in a bubble envelope (probably a few bucks).

@d.shaw has my old Drifter. Maybe he might be interested if he hasn’t upgraded already.

What kind of caulking or sealent did everyone use to seal up small holes where the fender meets the composite bed? Going to put a bead of sealent on the long section of the fender lip also.
