Vacuum solenoid switch valve?

Hey guys i was changing my dry rotted hoses and i broke the plastic inlet to my discontinued vacuum solenoid switch valve. I found one online since oem has been discontinued. Anyone ran inti this problem before?

right now i am getting a hissing sound in the cab when no throttle is applied.

 

I can't comment on aftermarket, but you could try threading it and using a plastic fitting with some thread sealant.

 

Purge Selnoid
Same part, different number fits 1st gen Tacomas and 3rd gen 4 Runners.
It's the VSS for EVAP.

 

Bigger hose over the broken nub, hose clamp, male to male reducer fitting to original line.

 

Hey black dog so all the parts are interchangeable? Aslong its the 2.7?

 

2.7 and 3.4 use same Purge Selnoid as well as many Corollas.
Only difference is some have 3 hose barbs and others have 2.

Your 3.4 has an EGR VSS and an EVAP VSS(Purge Selnoid).
Do you know which one you're talking about ?

 

I have a 2.7, i posted a picture of the part i broke. I broke the evap vss.

 

I got a VSV valve from Parts Geeks that is from the same manufacturer as the OEM toyota part, but isn't branded toyota.. 1998 3RZ FE engine
